Delameta Supports ASPI Annual Member General Meeting

Delameta.com, Jakarta – On June 23, 2023, the Annual General Meeting of Members of ASPI (Indonesian Payment System Association) was held at the Ballroom of the Shangri-La Hotel. This activity was held at 14:00 attended by 148 members, which is 68.2% of the 217 members of ASPI. PT Delameta Bilano is also part of the membership with the aim of being able to play a role in and support every activity carried out by ASPI (Indonesian Payment System Association).

Of course, the current development and growth of ASPI is thanks to the collaboration between industries, ladies and gentlemen. From the payment side, we were asked to develop Complete QRIS which can be done at ATMs and Merchants.
Of course, this shows that the digitalization system is growing at this time. Our future target is to expand the payment system to several neighboring countries.

Not only in terms of payment, there have been several collaborations that have been carried out including the issuance of Government Credit Cards. Initially it was implemented in the form of Card Base intended for the Central Government and now we were asked to make it in online/digital form. ASPI is also expected to be able to assist the industry in preparing the Information Technology Orbit so that it can assist the process to regulators.

Regarding the agenda for this year’s Management Election, we hope to keep ASPI transparent, independent and neutral, as well as being neutral as a payment system in Indonesia. Whoever is elected will be able to assist in the realization of ASPI’s vision in the future,” said Santoso as the Chairperson of ASPI.

The Indonesian Payment Systems Association (ASPI) was founded in 2010 and has approximately 200 members consisting of 120 bank members and 80 non-bank members.

The Indonesian Payment System Association (ASPI) has roles, duties and functions which include making provisions in the technical and micro payment system industry to support Bank Indonesia’s function as a regulator to create an efficient, safe and reliable payment system, as well as being a forum for changes and dynamics that occur in the payment system to meet the needs of ASPI members in order to increase the role of payment system actors in Indonesia.

More simply, it is divided into three elements of Action, Awareness and Advocacy, where in this Action element ASPI can be proactively involved in setting standards and actions to encourage digital payments, in this Awareness element ASPI acts as a disseminator of information to educate the Indonesian market. As well as Advocacy ASPI can present the ‘voice’ of the industry and protect members’ interests in dialogue with regulators and policy makers.

In accordance with the decisions made at the ASPI Annual General Meeting of Members, the composition of the ASPI Supervisory Board and Management Board has been elected. Through this new management, it is hoped that ASPI will continue to increase its role and function as a Self-Regulated Organization (SRO) as well as a Standards Institution that supports and oversees various strategic initiatives in the payment system industry in Indonesia.

Of course, the great hope of the Indonesian Payment System Association (ASPI) will continue to be supported by PT Delameta Bilano as a Domestic Technology and Infrastructure company, so that it can help realize the role and function of ASPI in more depth.
