Economic experts say that Southeast Asia is likely to remain a good place to become a center for inclusive, resilient and sustainable growth.
There are 4 (four) cooperation priorities that will be strengthened: health architecture, food security, trade facilities, energy security in supporting the energy transition towards clean and renewable energy (including the development of the electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem in this region), and financial stability for facing external shocks.
In this case, to expand bilateral cooperation and new business opportunities, the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia (KJRI) in Ho Chi Minh City in collaboration with the Thu Duc City People’s Committee will start a Business Forum. Expanding Vietnam’s Business Opportunities to Foster ASEAN as an Epicentrum of Growth.
In line with this, Indonesia’s Chairmanship of ASEAN in 2023 in an effort to expand business opportunities between Indonesia and Vietnam, especially in the southern region of Vietnam, the Indonesian Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City took the initiative to hold a Business Forum.
The Business Forum carries the theme “Expanding Indonesia – Vietnam Business Opportunities to Foster ASEAN as the Epicentrum of Growth” in collaboration with the Thu Duc City Government which will be held on July 18 2023. There are high hopes for business and investment opportunities in the development of smart cities in the digital transformation, infrastructure sectors , a center for innovation and sustainable development can be explored from the holding of this Business Forum.

In the future, after carrying out this activity, it is hoped that it will create new opportunities for cooperation bilaterally, especially for business and investment.
